Kalender en Sportief Reglement

Op 18 en 19 April start het nieuwe seizoen voor de Belcar Skylimit Sprint Cup. De Voorjaarsraces op het Grand Prix circuit van Zandvoort zijn het decor voor de start van het kampioenschap dat dit jaar over 6 race weekends verreden zal worden.

Naast “thuis” circuit Zolder dat 3 manches zal verwelkomen, doet de Sprint Cup naast de openings wedstrijd op Circuit Zandvoort nog 1x Circuit van Spa-Francorchamps aan en 1x het TT Circuit in Assen.

Twee buitenlandse verplaatsingen, het legendarische Spa-Francorchamps en een race in het kader van het druk bezochte 24 Uren van Zolder. Samen met de Truck Grand Prix en het New Race Festival zal deze kalender garant staan voor een klassevol en opvallend seizoen Belcar Skylimit Sprint Cup.

De wedstrijdkalender werd netjes verspreid over het jaar met volgende data:

  • 18-19 april 2025 – Voorjaarsraces – Zandvoort (NED)
  • 2-3 mei 2025 – New Race Festival – Zolder (BEL)
  • 3-4 juli 2025 – 25 Hours Fun Cup – Spa-Francorchamps (BEL)
  • 27-29 augustus 2025 – 24 Hours of Zolder – Zolder (BEL)
  • 12-13 september oktober 2025 – Belgian Truck Grand Prix – Zolder (BEL) 
  • 24-25 oktober 2025 – Finale Races – Assen (NED)

Het sportieve reglement werd niet gewijzigd. De referentie rondetijden werden wel aangepast voor de 4 verschillende omlopen dat de Belcar Skylimit Sprint Cup zal aandoen in 2026.


De klasse indeling gebeurd dus volgens nieuwe referentietijden per circuit:
  • Klasse 1: Zolder > 1’58”50 Spa > 3’07”00 Zandvoort >2'05"00 Assen >2’05”50 
  • Klasse 2: Zolder > 1’54”50 Spa > 2’57”00 Zandvoort >2'01"00 Assen >2’01"50 
  • Klasse 3: Zolder > 1’50”50 Spa > 2’52”00 Zandvoort >1'57"00 Assen >1’57"50 
  • Klasse 4: Zolder > 1’46”50 Spa > 2’46”00 Zandvoort >1'52"00 Assen >1’52"50 
  • Klasse 5: Zolder > 1’42”50 Spa > 2’40”00 Zandvoort >1'48"00 Assen >1’48"50 
  • Klasse 6: Zolder > 1'38"50 Spa > 2'34"00 Zandvoort >1'44"00 Assen >1’44"50

Twee gechronometreerde trainingssessies van maximum 30 minuten bepalen de startpositie voor elke manche van het race weekend.

Elke race zal ook volgens het principe van “rollende start” aangevat worden na een formatie ronde achter de Safety Car.

Wie zich op het eind van het jaar tot algemeen of klasse kampioen mag kronen hangt af van de puntentelling per race. Voor het algemeen eindklassement worden de punten behaald in het algemeen klassement en de punten behaald in de klasse samengeteld. Voor het eindklassement in de verschillende klassen worden enkel de punten behaald in de betreffende klasse samengeteld.

Calendar and Sporting Regulations

The new season for the Belcar Skylimit Sprint Cup starts on April 18 and 19. The Spring Races at the Zandvoort Grand Prix circuit will serve as the setting for the start of the championship, which will be held over 6 race weekends this year.

In addition to its “home” Circuit Zolder, which will host 3 rounds, the Sprint Cup will visit Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps once and the TT Circuit in Assen once, alongside the open- ing race at Circuit Zandvoort.

Two international trips, the legendary Spa-Francorchamps and a race as part of the highly popular 24 Hours of Zolder. Together with the Truck Grand Prix and the New Race Festival, this calendar guarantees a classy and remarkable Belcar Skylimit Sprint Cup season.

The competition calendar is neatly spread throughout the year with the following dates:

  • 18-19 April 2025 – Voorjaarsraces – Zandvoort (NED)
  • 2-3 May 2025 – New Race Festival – Zolder (BEL)
  • 3-4 July 2025 – 25 Hours Fun Cup – Spa-Francorchamps (BEL)

The sporting regulations were not changed. However, the reference lap times were adjusted for the 4 different circuits that the Belcar Skylimit Sprint Cup will visit in 2026.

The class classification is therefore based on new reference times per circuit:

  • Class 2: Zolder > 1’54”50 Spa > 2’57”00 Zandvoort >2'01"00 Assen >2’01"50 
  • Class 3: Zolder > 1’50”50 Spa > 2’52”00 Zandvoort >1'57"00 Assen >1’57"50 
  • Class 4: Zolder > 1’46”50 Spa > 2’46”00 Zandvoort >1'52"00 Assen >1’52"50

Two timed practice sessions of a maximum of 30 minutes will determine the starting posi- tion for each race of the weekend.

Each race will also be started according to the "rolling start" principle after a formation lap behind the Safety Car.

Who is crowned overall or class champion at the end of the year depends on the point scoring per race. For the overall final standings, the points earned in the overall stand- ings and the points earned in the class are added together. For the final standings in the various classes, only the points earned in the respective class are added together.
